None, other than the fact that the tuk tuk ride to the touristy part of the city only takes 15 minutes. I mean, who has time for that?

We had the best time exploring the local area and visiting this awesome lake where locals go to swim, fish, and have a great time. It was super cool to see how the locals live and we even got to join in on the fishing fun. Staying with a real Khmer family made the experience even more special, they were so welcoming and made us feel like part of their gang.

If there was one thing we could change, it would be to have more late-night party options nearby. We're a group of young party animals and it would've been epic to have some more nightlife options to keep the party going after we returned from exploring.

Our stay at this homestay was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warmth and hospitality of the family. The communal meals were mind-blowing, with delicious food and friendly conversations. We were even treated to impromptu dance parties! The homestay also offers educational opportunities, including a free school for underprivileged children. We were so inspired that we ended up making a donation to provide computers for the school. The host also went above and beyond to help us have a fantastic time in the area, arranging an excellent tour guide for the Angkor temples and a great tuk tuk driver. We cannot express enough how much we recommend this place - it's not just a place to stay, but a chance to experience the real Cambodia and make a positive impact on the community.
